The Power Systems Automation group is a full-service systems integrator with the capabilities to integrate the necessary equipment and technologies, to provide a complete, power automation solution. This team of engineers and technicians brings extensive skills and experiences with a variety of leading HMI software packages enabling us to design graphically rich, easy-to-use operator interfaces that take advantage of the latest standalone or web-based technologies. Our experience transcends a multitude of equipment manufacturers, software packages, and network architectures, including all major OEMs HMI, PLCs, and components. We offer single point responsibility, a high level of engineering and systems integration expertise, and a unified focus on cost effective solutions, seamless integration, HMI development, energy management tools, and professional turnkey system design and implementation.
Primary Responsibility:
The Software Configuration Specialist performs custom configuration of Foreseer, Power Xpert and other Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems per customer specifications, includes web based graphical user interface design and implementation.
Essential Functions:
Reviews electrical diagrams and factory drawing packages.
o Prepares necessary floorplan and electrical oneline images from AutoCAD or Visio drawing packages for use in Foreseer, Power Xpert and other HMI systems.
o Configures large enterprise wide, multi-site Foreseer, Power Xpert and HMI software and web based graphical interface based on custom style guides.
o Designs Webviews summary panels and equipment templates for Foreseer, Power Xpert and HMI systems.
o Designs graphical elements for dynamic electrical onelines and bus animation.
o Performs QC of work per quality control checklist.
o Performs PC configuration and testing.
o Deploys Power Monitoring HMI applications.
o Presents Webviews editing training to both internal and external customers
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Basic Qualifications:
oBachelors Degree in an engineering field, information systems/technology, or liberal arts from an accredited Institution
oLegally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Please note relocation is not included with this position. Only local candidates will be considered.
Position Criteria:
oExperience with Windows Operating Systems and common databases such as Access and SQL.
oExperience working with Photoshop, illustrator, Flash, HTML, creative suite, photo manipulation, and web based graphical layout design programs.
oExcellent communications skills and must have the ability to interface with internal and external customers, salespeople, and other team members on a technical level.
oSolid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are paramount.
oStrong computer skills are required including intermediate to advanced skills with all Windows Operating Systems and common databases such as Access and SQL.
oProficient use of a web based graphics editing program and the entire Microsoft Office suite is required.
oAbility to decipher engineering drawings.
oAutoCAD Experience
oSubmit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.

oExperience working within an engineering service or information systems service environment.
