As a Quality Manager, youll have responsibility in managing and implementing the quality management system, control of documents, control of records, internal audits, analysis of data and corrective action plans.
What youll do:
Manage and Supervise the Quality department.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage assigned account budgets and implement cost reduction activities.
Establish, implement, manage, maintain and enforce the standards and system for ensuring that the organizations compliance with all FAA regulatory requirements and ISO 9001 Quality Standard.
Ensure that work performed on articles for return to service is within the authority of the repair station.
Serve as the liaison with all NAA and customers on all regulatory and quality matters.
Maintain communications sending revisions or acknowledging receipt of revisions form and to the FAA as well as respond to requests.
Ensure that the list of contracted maintenance functions is current and approved by the FAA.
Ensure the repair station capabilities listings are maintained current and compliant.
Review and validate self-evaluation of new product capabilities to ensure compliance with all technical and regulatory requirements before adding to capability listings and /or releasing first articles to return to service.
Review and approve operation routers, technical plans and special process parameters, etc.
Review each revision of the OEM Manual.
Submit Document Change Requests for any revision changes that impact current capabilities.
Ensure repair station rosters, stamp control and employee summaries are maintained current and compliant.
Manage the Internal Audit Program to include scheduling, performance and reporting out of internal and external vendor audits to ensure compliance.
Including environmental.
Manage corrective and preventive action request from all sources of findings.
Initiate and assign Preventive Action Requests to correct negative trends.
Ensure all quality system manuals, procedures, work instructions, operation routers and inspection forms are appropriately approved and maintained current.
Ensure all technical documents and data is maintained current and available to all repair station personnel.
Position Requirements:
A&P License or repairman certification.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
Preferred Characteristics:
Bachelor Degree (BA) or five plus years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
